Thank you Swatch for this inspiring journey! The wonderful guidance of my mentors brought this series so much further, thank you @alecvonbargen_studio and @lynnerobertsgoodwin for pushing to think bigger.
Thank you Adam Finkelston for choosing my work in your lovely magazine! Publication in Issue 38 of the The Hand Magazine
The Hand Magazine is based in Prairie Village, Kansas and has been in publication since 2013.
The Hand is published four times a year in February, May, August, and November.
It is owned, published, co-edited, and distributed by Adam Finkelston. James Meara is lead designer and co-editor.
The Hand is dedicated to being the world’s premier forum for “alternative” and historic photographic processes and all types of printmaking.
They want to encourage inspiration, education, and community for artists using unique, mixed media, experimental, and idiosyncratic “reproduction-based” techniques.
They do also print digital art work and art work where the subject matter has been manipulated, directed, or staged by the artist.

While the residency in Shanghai remains open but accessible only for those artists already in China, we are happy to virtually meet and work with a group of photographers for a new virtual residency.
While the first edition of the creative mentorship program focused on feature films, this time it is all about photography. This second virtual residency includes Mo Verlaan from The Netherlands, Federico Patrocinio from Italy, Pierre De Villiers from South Africa. Letícia Volpi from Brazil and Robin Cerutti Photography from Canada.
It is so amazing to be part of this second edition of the Swatch @rt Pe@ce Hotel, the creative mentorship program of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel Artist Residency. This edition is all about Photography.
Most importantly, thanks to the 4 brave photographers who will be sharing their talent and creativity with me over the next 2 months – Federico Patrocinio from Italy, Pierre De Villiers from South Africa, Letícia Volpi from Brasil and Robin Cerutti Photography from Canada. It’s a true honor.

Founded in 2018, Analog Forever Magazine is an online and print publisher of contemporary analog photography. Our mission is simple: we want to provide a global audience to photographers who use analog processes and techniques for their photographic work by giving them a voice via a biannual print photography journal, online features and interviews, book reviews, and online exhibitions. Our goal is to highlight the best of the best from the analog photography industry including artists, projects, galleries, and curators.
The HAND Magazine is a quarterly publication for artists working in photography, digital, and print.

I’m incredible proud that the series The Memory of Timehas been selected by Ann Mitchell for the fourth showcase Photography and Time in her journal Thinking About Photography.
Photography and Time features six photographers whose work explores time in interesting ways.
The featured artists are: Xavi Bou, Laura Dodson, Roberto Fernández Ibáñez, Michael Massaia, Jane Paradise and Mo Verlaan.
So, I looked to find an interesting range in the six photographers featured here.
Utilizing the mechanics of photography, several artists have transcended the technical to create magical moments: from insomnia-driven wanderings, to examining what happens even before you shoot, to creating floating, ephemeral sculptures in the air.
Exploring memory and the passage of time, several artists examine that experience and the sense of longing the journey can leave us with.
Throughout the showcase you will find unique voices examining our relationship to time.
Please take the time to check out her Journal Thinking About Photography!
The Memory of Time is a study about the plasticity of time and light. For me there is a strong correlation between the impermanence of light and the fluidity of time.
The Japanese word for space: Ma, describes it best: it suggests an interval, a gap or pause in time, an emptiness in space.
Daarom ditmaal the naked edition.
